Full description

Find peace and tranquility on a 1.5-hour sunset catamaran sailing cruise in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. You’ll depart on this cruise about an hour and a half before the sun sets. Take advantage of the limited guests aboard the MMAD Catter for a guaranteed view of the sunset over the horizon.

To complement the beautiful scenery, enjoy a free beverage and snacks while sailing. You’ll have a choice of beer, wine, soda, and water onboard for your enjoyment.

Sailing is an eco-friendly way to tour the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary because fossil fuels are only burned when necessary to get in and out of the harbor. Sit back, relax with a glass of wine, watch a gorgeous sunset, and keep a lookout for wildlife on this one-of-a-kind tour in Monterey.

The nearest parking to the wharf entrance is located at 101 Washington St, Monterey, CA, 93940. Please park 45 MINUTES BEFORE your departure time to avoid missing the boat as traffic is regularly congested in Monterey this time of year. After Parking, you'll need to make your way down the Old Fisherman's Wharf. 1. Follow signs for “Old Fisherman’s Wharf" towards the bright pink Harbor House Gift Shop. 2. Walk down the wharf until you reach the Crab House (with the big clock), then make a right onto the side pier. 3. Walk towards the end until you see the fisherman statue and turn left. 4. Our building is small and blue with a "SAIL MONTEREY" sign on top of it. You will see a sailboat docked next to it or behind it.

This was a very enjoyable way to end a day on the Monterey Bay. When the sails go up and the engine goes off it is magical. Captain Paul had great information and also knew when to let the passengers just sit back and enjoy the ride. Loved that he served local beer.
