Montepulciano: Winery Tour, Tasting, and Vineyard Picnic

Rebecca was so kind, attentive, and she speaks English well. We toured the grounds, asked lots of questions, and learned more than any wine tour we had been on before. We even had our toddler with us, which can be a challenge. They were extremly accommodating. As for the wine. Isadoro is a perfectionist about his wine and it certainly shows. This is wine made with love, not mass produced and shipped away to those that could not appreciate the amount of time, energy, and passion that has gone into this incredible art. We ordered with absolute confidence that we were getting the best possible product for the money. We even got great recommendations for local produce, meats, cheese, and even more great wine. The whole experience was terrific and it will be a fond memory for us.

We were the only two for the morning. It was very pleasant and we learned a lot about how the vineyard started. The wine tasting was nice. The picnic basket was a good amount of food. This winery is next to the highway so that was a little odd. Nonetheless, my husband and I had a nice time.

Het wijnproeven zelf was de leukste activiteit. De gids deed zijn best om alles goed uit te leggen in het Engels. Ook de vrouw achter de bar was zeer vriendelijk en geïnteresseerd in ons. Beiden hebben ons warm ontvangen en ervoor gezorgd dat we een leuke en unieke middag hebben beleefd. Pluspunt: gezelschap van de poes van de eigenaar tijdens de picknick.
