Full description
Oft cited as the most original of Jamaica's great houses, Greenwood is unique because it survived unscathed during the slave rebellion of Christmas 1831. In addition to an extensive collection of Jamaican antiques, we also have the largest and rarest assortment of musical instruments and plantation library books on the island. Greenwood Great House was built in twenty years with a completion date of 1800 -- the home was mainly used for entertainment. Our 45 minute tours are led by knowledgeable tour guides and will take you through each room of the house.
