Simply great. We were at the entrance at around 10:30 a.m. There was a very long line of people who had to buy an entrance ticket on site. We were able to go straight through thanks to the entrance tickets we had bought in advance. Which I would always recommend. It simply saves you a lot of time that you could spend more sensibly visiting. Yes, it is very crowded there. Lots of school classes. You have to be a good walker to see everything. Lots of steps, very steep alleys, narrow passageways... We had a short rain shower and the cobblestones were very slippery. You can skip the mile with the souvenir shops, food and drink on site are correspondingly more expensive. But it was very impressive. A beautiful place.

These old walls of small houses and alleys, this large abbey with all its corridors are impressive, as is the view of the lake and the horizon or of Le Mont St. Michel from the surrounding area. We were there at around 9.30 a.m. It was not yet crowded. Le Mont can be reached at any time of day and the steps and inclines can be managed even with a slight hip problem. There are always opportunities to linger. There is a particularly beautiful view from the Barage, the barrier in front of the Mont, especially at sunset.

Definitely worth seeing. It's OK for the price, but it does need to be maintained. The view from the top is fantastic, and you can't get there by yourself.

Everything was problem-free and visiting Mont Saint Michel is a unique, wonderful experience.

A very special place to see. I have been twice already
