Departing from Évora, it will take you about 4 hours to visit the amazing village of Monsaraz. Wander the streets and enjoy the breathtaking views of this hilltop village. Enter a time capsule that will take you back centuries. En route, the tour will stop at San Pedro do Corval, a pottery village. Stop by a family-owned pottery and have a great opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about ceramics. Afterwards, don't go home without tasting unique wines from a local winery.

This tour will take you to Évora, an UNESCO world heritage site, where medieval streets and beautiful typical Portuguese houses coexist. Start the tour to the south, passing over the 25th April bridge at Lisbon also known as the Golden Gate replica, and enjoy the drive through the country side of Portugal. On arrival at Évora, beside the Historical Center, there are nearby a lot of interesting points to visit, such as Evora's Roman Temple, the Cathedral, Saint Francis church, King Manuel Royal Palace and it's gardens, the local market, and one of the most famous and iconic places, the Chapel of Bones. Onwards, you will travel towards the border between Portugal and Spain, to discover Monsaraz Castle, one of the conquered and gaven castles to the Knights Templar order. Explore its medieval streets surrounded by stunning views of the Alentejo plains, where you can also see the largest artificial lake in Europe.

The meeting point is in Évora, the first stage is the visit to the cromlech of Almendres and menhir dos Almendres. After that, a essencial tour in Évora, starting in the firt settlers of the city the Eborones in "Alto de São João", now the journey goes to the World Heritage Site, which spans fron Roman, Visigothic and Muslim times, after that to the Golden Portugal Age 15th and 16th century. The splendour of Évora became the favourite residence of the Kings of our second dynasty Avis and the phenomenal heritage built in the city. Its cultural splendour with artists like the dramaturge Gil Vicente, the scultor Nicolau Chanterene, the painter Fray Carlos and the buildings that todays beautify the city which the great mecenas was the Cardinal-Infante Dom Henrique (later King Henry I).

We will end our tour in Monsaraz, a medieval village on the top of the hill overlooking to Guadiana River and the border with Spain. Enjoy at least once in your life, the sunrise flight over the landscapes of Alentejo. The duration of this private flight will be approximately 1 hour. Our team will pickup you at the hotel, early in the morning, and take you to the take off field. You can watch the balloon being inflated and eventually standing by itself. As soon as everything is ready, you can jump into the basket and prepare for this magic experience. The pilot will give you a short debriefing before take off. As you fly, the pilot will provide details of the area you are flying over and keep you updated on the balloon's performance. Finally, you will land wherever the wind takes you and the balloon will be met by a support team. When you've touched down in the landing field, you will be presented with a certificate signed by the pilot and a champagne toast. Then our team will transport you back to the hotel.
