We are 2 older guys and decided this private 2 hour trip along the coast from Monopoli to Polignano would be a great way to see the coastline...and it was. Given we did it in January, we were very lucky with the weather and the sea was calm. Our guide, Maria, was cheerful and informative and the boat was comfortable. The prosecco and snacks on the boat at Polignano was a nice touch. A very relaxing way to see the coast and see the 2 towns from the sea. I would certainly recommend this activity.
We met Rosa at the agreed departure time for our private walking tour of Monopoli. Her English was excellent and she was very well informed. I thoroughly enjoyed our Day 1 introduction of our 4 night stay to Monopoli. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone. I am 70 and walk with a stick...my slower pace was not a problem for Rosa.... which I did appreciate.
This activity was a hands on experience of how to form 2 different pasta shapes. There was also a lot of information on making the pasta dough and the sauce. The experience was informative, informal and overall very pleasant.
The boat trip was amazing! We learned interesting facts about the caves and the city. Our tour guide was funny, very kind, and helpful. We also saw dolphins, which was a spectacular and amazing experience!
