Manuela was an excellent guide! We loved our hike at Monolithos and would definitely recommend her tours to others on Rhodes 😊. She also helped us take many amazing photographs to commemorate our honeymoon, which is an incredible bonus 💕💕. We had a chance to hike, watch the sunset, eat snacks and have coffee, and swim in the ocean and get tossed around by the waves. A perfect way to spend the day.

Full description

Set off on a guided hiking tour and discover a wild and scenic bay near the village of Monolithos. Then, explore the remains of Monolithos Castle and watch the sun set over the Aegean Sea.
Depart from the characteristic village of Monolithos before descending into a little red sand bay located between tall cliffs. This wild bay, accessible only by foot, will stun you with its natural beauty.
Crystal-clear waters and a sea breeze make this the ideal spot for a brief stop before climbing up to the castle, which is situated on a rock that emerges from the green valley.
Monolithos Castle, built on the 236m high monolith that gives it its name, has never been conquered. All that remains today is a portion of the outer fortifications and two 15th-century chapels with views of Akramitis Mountain, Halki Island, and the vast Aegean Sea.

Superleuke ervaring! Heel mooie en beetje uitdagende wandeling in de prachtige natuur van Rhodos. Manuela heeft ons perfect begeleid en wist ook heel wat te vertellen over het eiland en de natuur. Halverwege de tocht kom je op een prachtig verlaten strand terecht waar je anders niet voorbij komt en waar je even kan uitrusten of een zwemmeke kan placeren. Aanrader!
