Overall rating

Our tour was great, the guide was really informative, and friendly, making the time go by on the way to the dock. We got a monkey to come on to our boat from the first island, and took the grapes from our hands. The next island they came down to the boat next to ours, but we got a good look. No dice from the third island. But it was great, the highlight of our week. I'm glad we went to the sloth sanctuary, but there's not a lot to it. It's a big space with three sloths laying in their beds. We were fortunate to get there when a worker was feeding one, and telling a group of patrons about the sloths & the rescue effort, and showed us pictures on her phone of baby sloths that have been rescued. The Butterfly House has some nice specimens, including those with wings that have the giant 'eye' on them. I'm glad we went, but if we come back to Panama I'd just do the Monkey Island. I'd make a donation to APPC Panama rather than return to the Sloth Sanctuary. Once was good enough.

Such an amazing tour! It ended up just being my group with the guide so it felt like a private tour. He knew when to be where and adjusted our itinerary as such to maximize our time spent and enjoy better weather. The monkeys were so fun to see and they climbed all over us. The Panama Canal has a great imax movie experience and getting to see the locks in action afterward was such a treat. Would recommend!!!

We really enjoyed our tour today ! Thank you Mario for being so easygoing and accommodating and for so clearly explaining the tour ! We highly recommend this tour. we got to have all the monkeys jump on our boat on our hands and head and it was a great joy to all! 5 stars!!

PERFECT— Daniel is an awesome guide. We’ve seen 3 different types of Monkeys and a lot more animals during our trip thanks to his amazing guidances. I recommend booking this activity.

Excellent experience! Our tour guide Demetrio was amazing, exhibited deep knowledge regarding the Canal and its surroundings. 100% recommended!!
