This was a fantastic day trip for my family and 8 year old son! The guide was very informative and kept us updated every step of the way. We knew what to expect and when to expect it. The Monkeys were really fun to feed and play with. It was awesome feeding the crocodiles using fishing poles, and then the military base was really interesting. Definitely recommend the boat ride back…its more than just a ferry…it was so cool zipping through the narrow river on a motor boat. Our last stop was the seafood market where my son picked, watch cook, and then ate a mantis shrimp. The only rough spot was the traffic to get back on the ferry but as i mentioned before, the guide told us well ahead of time that would happen since it was a sunday. But even with that, it was all totally worth it! Core memories built!!

The travel to the Magrove forest and monkey island was pretty fun. We had really bad raining when we arrived the monkey island. So our guide Khoa was flexible and changed the itinery to first visit the fish market and come back to the forest, when the rain is gone. Khoa was explaining the history about the mangrove forest and the population of the monkeys and crocodiles. He was very helpful to not get robbed by the monkeys aswell. All in all very fun experience and can recommend this daytrip.

Our guide, Sam, was amazing! She knew every monkey individually, & even retrieved my stolen hat (hold onto your hats & glasses, or pack them away, if you don’t want them to get stolen by monkeys).
