This was a truly fabulous excursion from start to finish. Our guide, Roy, was personable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region. He shared so many interesting facts and local insights throughout the day, which really enriched the experience. The brief stop in Silves was a great addition — it gave us time to explore the historic Castelo de Silves and take in the charm of the town before heading to the winery. The winery tour itself was well-organized and engaging. Roy answered all of our questions with ease and depth, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. The highlight was relaxing on the terrace with a delicious selection of tapas and wine tastings, all set against a beautiful backdrop. It was a spectacular day filled with great wine, stunning views, and memorable moments — definitely an experience worth recommending!
Filipe is a walking gem. So knowledgeable, very informative and passionate about his work and wine. The ride to the Castello de Silves was immersive and enjoyable. And the wine tasting was an experience in itself. So good we bought a bottle of Rose to take home.
