This tour truly gets you a unique experience of Old Town/Mombasa from the perspective of a local. We had 2 guides. Yvonne was our overall main guide. And we had a local expert who's name starts with an A who walked us through the Fort and Old Town. He made us feel safe and offered lots of information. Yvonne did a great job of taking us onto the ferry with locals and guiding us. Make sure you eat breakfast and/ or bring a snack. We choose not to stop for lunch and maximize tour time. The only improvement needed is clarification and organization on what costs are included in the tour. The tuk tuk ride says included but there was confusion on if we should pay or the guide. The pick up and return trip is included but we had to cover the return ride because the driver didn't receieve pre payment. We were refunded this payment so it was fine, but this could be avoided.
