Enjoy an onboard lunch and drinks. Set sail from Ma'alaea Harbor towards the westside of the island to Turtle Town, aka Mala Wharf (if weather conditions allow). See where, in 1992, a powerful hurricane created an artificial reef and sanctuary where corals and other marine life thrive. Spot Moorish idols, green sea turtles, and saddle wrasse while snorkeling here. If snorkel conditions are not ideal at Turtle Town a.k.a. Mala Wharf, cruise to one of the other premier westside snorkel locations such as Honolua Bay, Airport Beach, or Launiupoko. See Hawaiian green sea turtles, brightly colored tropical fish, and beautiful coral reef formations. During the whale season between December to April, observe humpback whales as they enjoy the warm Hawaiian waters (time permitting). Learn from expert narration about the whales and provide a play-by-play commentary of the whales' behavior as you view them.

Experience the beauty of Hawaii from a different perspective on a scenic helicopter flight over Maui and Molokai. Climb aboard at Kahului Heliport and fly over the world's largest sea cliffs. Get bird's eye views of the dramatic waterfalls of Molokai, including Kahiwa Falls. Continue towards the remote north shore to gaze down at the Halawa Valley and the vast fish ponds. Fly over the Pailolo Channel to admire the scenic waters between the islands, including Elephant Rock. Fly over Maui for intimate views of the Valley State Park. Get privileged views of the cascades of Honokohau Falls, the island's tallest waterfall. Look to the horizon to see the dormant volcano of Haleakala and the rugged peaks of the West Maui Mountains. Experience the thrill of a doors-off helicopter tour on Maui. Feel the exhilaration of the wind in your hair as you see the sights of West Maui and Molokai in an unforgettable way. Take off from the Air Maui base at the Kahului heliport and cross into the West Maui mountains to explore the rainforest and waterfalls. Then, cross the Pailolo channel to the island of Molokai to view the tallest sea cliffs in the world and cascading waterfalls on Molokai's north shore. Although it can be very windy on board, the doors-off experience provides unobstructed views of these requested areas only seen by helicopter. For the doors-off flight, you are only allowed to bring your cell phone (no exceptions) that will be put in a lanyard for the flight. All passengers must be 10 years old or older to fly on the doors off flight. Edge seats must be 16 years old or older. Air Maui will also provide a windbreaker jacket and flight goggles that will be worn during the entire flight. Tie long hair back tight, closed toe shoes on and be ready for an incredible flight experience!

Our Gabriel's Ohana life vests are upgraded as well. Each vest comes with a safety whistle and under the leg, straps to prevent them from popping over your head when you hit the water as the others do. We have sizes S-XXXL available. The correct size is important for your safety, don't settle for something that is just one size fits all, we didn't.
