A very, very good tour to get to know Crete and its inhabitants. Lots of stops at agricultural fields and in small villages. Lots of input about Greece and what was important. Very individual in a group of a maximum of 6 people. Our guide Stavros loves what he does and it shows. You have to do the tour if you want to get to know Crete as a local rather than a tourist. Great program and definitely recommended. Price/performance is optimal. The products you taste are too. You notice that everything here takes place on a personal, friendly level. Very good, understandable English, even as a young German. The best tour so far in Crete. Knossos is not really worth a visit, unfortunately more show than substance. It is not worth the €15 and unfortunately very touristy. It is missing that certain something.

Absolutely worth it! This is the one tour my partner and I booked during our 2 weeks on Crete. We learned and saw so much that we never would have on our own. Stavros was fun, engaging, and genuine. It’s clear he cares a lot about his home island and sharing it with others. The van was very comfortable, and I preferred this small group tour (6-7 people max) as opposed to the large buses you often see. I also appreciate that this is a small, independently-owned business that supports other small businesses during the tour! Stavros is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, and he even followed up with suggestions for the rest of our trip. We will be recommending this tour company to our friends and family who decided to visit Crete in the future, and we ourselves hope to be back one day!

The trip was a complete success. We traveled in two cars. The guides Ron and Andreas were a very cool and funny team. The tour was very personal, everything was taken into account. Lots of interesting information was shared and you could try out lots of things yourself (milking goats, trying traditional delicacies, making pottery). Lunch was delicious: chicken cooked in the oven for 3 hours and very tasty wine. I can 100% recommend the trip.

Niko was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, personable and funny. However, I found out that the other people on the tour paid $20 less per person using Viator.

Ed was the kindest and friendliest tourguide we ever had! It was a very funny, interesting and personal tour. Thanks a lot! We can highly recommend this tour!
