Discover the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park on a guided tour by 4x4 vehicle. Admire the wonderful scenery from the Goosneck overlook on the Colorado River, discover Native American rock art, and learn about the history and geology of the area. Start with pickup from your hotel in Moab. Head towards Canyonlands National Park, whilst meandering alongside the Colorado River. Stop outside the park boundary to discover some ancient Native American petroglyphs carved into the cliffs by the Ancestral Puebloans. Learn about the geology, flora, fauna, and history of the area throughout the adventure with your expert guide. Continue to the jeep trail that leads up to the breathtaking Island in the Sky district. Along the way, enjoy some photo stops at natural landmarks such as Fossil Point and Musselman Arch. Enjoy the fantastic views of the Colorado River from Gooseneck Overlook and travel along a section of the White Rim trail. Wind up the switchbacks of the famous Shafer Trail, and enjoy one last look out over the park before driving back to Moab.

Great! Andy knew his stuff and was there to make sure we enjoyed the whole experience. He has fantastic knowledge of the whole area, it's history and formation. He is passionate in his desire to share his love and concern for the area and help you have the same desire. The experience with my 94 year old father and my 2 sons is, and will be irreplaceable! The memory will be everlasting for all of us. The scenery was everything and Andy's skills at driving, entertaining, and teaching were right on! Thanks Andy from all of us "Giles". A worthwhile tour that really helped us understand the history, the landscape, and the nature that inhabits it. Our guide, Ron, was fantastic, not just knowledgeable but super entertaining and personable. There were plenty of stops to get out and check things out, get some great views and photos. I was skeptical at first, but I ultimately ended up happy as it really put into context what we had earlier seen from high above in Canyonlands.

Our family took this adventure thinking it was side by sides or UTVs but it ended up being a 4x4 Jeep (that was our mistake) but in the end we’re so happy to have been in the keep with a guide. The road down is very narrow with very sharp turns down. The area wasn’t marked great and without his knowledge we wouldn’t have known the places to go. He was knowledgeable, friendly and always open to taking our photos! The only negative was we said in the 3rd row and couldn’t hear what he was saying, but we enjoyed the ride, views and experience!
