You will witness a spectacular sunset, and the colors of the sky will amaze you as the sun sets behind the horizon, painting the sky with an array of colors that will leave you breathless. From here we'll continue and drive you higher up through the national park Teide and explain to you some history and the great volcanic landscape of the national park until we get to our destination of 2000m altitude. The stars begin to emerge, and this is where the real magic begins. Teide National Park is known for its excellent stargazing opportunities, as it is located far from any sources of light pollution, offering crystal-clear views of the night sky. With nearly no light pollution and known as a starlight-certified destination, you may see shooting stars like never before. We will also use powerful lasers to explain to you some of those amazing constellations, important stars and how to find direction navigating using the stars. Also, we'll use powerful telescopes and show you the moon's surface with great craters. We will take some amazing pictures with your phone through the telescope, and get you the service of the moon (when visible) on your phone screen. We'll see some planets (depending on the time of the year), nebulae, star clusters, double stars, and when the conditions are just right, we could also show you the Andromeda galaxy. Through some seasons of the year, we could also show you the Milky Way and take pictures of it using your smartphone. A professional picture session is also available as an option during sunset and stargazing for an extra cost. At the end of the tour, we will bring you back to your meeting point, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

You will marvel at the sunset over the islands of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro from a viewpoint (1400m of elevation), right by a lava flow from a volcanic eruption noted in the ship's log by Cristopher Colombus in 1492. Every sunset is different! You can celebrate this unique experience and take pictures of the beautiful colors of the sky with the sun shining through a glass of Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) we provide. After sunset, if conditions allow (wind, clouds and temperature) we will transfer to another beautiful viewpoint. Our guides will show you stars, constellations and planets using a laser pointer and their storytelling skills. We will explain how to find Polaris, the North Star, using the asterism in Ursa Major, and how to find the Andromeda galaxy using the great square of Pegasus, all while learning some Greek mythology. You will further enjoy the details of planets, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters through the 12" Dobsonian telescope we provide. Depending on the time of the year, you will see: - the Moon, which will be the main object in the sky the days before and on full moon - the planets and their features such as the rings of Saturn and the Galilean moons around Jupiter when they are visible in the sky (in the summer and autumn months), - beautiful galaxies, nebulae and star clusters such as the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters in the constellation of Taurus (in winter). The adventure ends with the return to Guía de Isora. A deposit of $100 per quad is required to ensure the care of the equipment.

Book with us and enjoy a unique experience driving your own quad bike alone or with your partner or friends to visit the base of the highest volcano in Spain. You can come directly to our office in Chio or we can pick you up directly at your hotel if you are in the south in the central area from Los Cristianos and Callao Salvaje. When you arrive at our office, our instructors will explain our contract, give you a brief summary of our rules, provide you with headgear, helmets, and back protection, and assign you an automatic 350cc Kimco quad bike. The tour lasts 3 hours, and you will have 2 instructors with the group, one in front and one behind, closing the group with 2 cars for your safety. We will take the TF38 route and go up to an altitude of 1000 meters, where our terrain awaits you with ups and downs to enjoy an off-road circuit. Then we will climb up to 2,000 meters above sea level to the base of the Teide volcano. We will stop so you can admire the views of the National Park, take photos that you can purchase at the end of the tour, and share the history of the volcano and interesting anecdotes about the island. On the way back, we will offer snacks and drinks. We will make 3 stops in total at different altitudes. This is a unique experience to visit the Teide volcano in a different way. A driver's license is required, and in winter we recommend wearing warm clothing. We provide jackets, pants, and gloves for the cold.
