Full description

Take a 3-hour kayaking tour to the beaches of Tsigrado and Gerakas and discover the secrets of Milos.   Starting from the beach of Fyriplaka, head east along the volcanic coastline of Milos. On the way to the beaches, paddle along beautiful small bays, into caves and around tiny islands.   Once you reach the beaches, you can swim in the crystal-clear waters and explore the magnificent underwater world of Milos with snorkeling masks. Keep your fingers crossed and you might even come across a sea turtle. If the weather is favorable, visit a hidden volcanic beach.   Throughout the experience, take pictures using an action camera, so you can keep the highlights of your trip with you and bring home the breeze of the Aegean Sea.   At every stop, enjoy a traditional, homemade treat to boost your energy. After exploring Gerakas, you’ll paddle back to Fyriplaka beach, full of unforgettable experiences and memories.

Meeting point

Meet at Fyriplaka beach, on the south part of Milos. You can reach it by a bus, by taxi, by car, or even by motorbike and scooter. You will be able to park your vehicle along the road for free. The kiosk is next to the big rock, the main attraction of the beach. Beware because when you reach the seafront, it will look as if you have reached a dead end - in fact, you just have to walk by the shore, literally on a few rocks and a small cement path, until you reach the beach. Don't worry, it's easier than it sounds!

  • In case of bad weather conditions, you will be notified if there is a change in time, day or place of the tour. The alternative route starts from Madrakia, heads to Sarakiniko and Alogomadra and ends at Pachena beach.

I had a really good time. You get to see some of the beaches which are only accessible by boat/swim. If you are lucky, you get your private beach :). Guides Paris, John, Costas were extremely nice. Overall it was nice relaxing event,definitely worth doing.

We had the best time exploring on kayaks. Breathtaking views, snorkeling was so fun, they provided us with waters, GoPros, and homemade snacks from Paris’ mom. Mom knows how to cook! They were delicious. We snorkeled at a shipwreck, it was really neat. Paris was an awesome guide, so kind. He took lots of pics and videos of us! Highly recommend this adventure!

I highly recommend this trip! When the weather forecast changed, Paris was extremely accommodating and presented a ton of fascinating sights that would have otherwise gone unnoticed on our trip to Milos. His sweet mother not only baked delicious snacks for us to enjoy but even picked up my husband and I when a local had us park 30 minutes away. Paris and his partner consistently check-in with the group to make sure everyone is okay, and the pace is acceptable for all so please do not hesitate if you have never kayaked. This was a wonderful experience!
