An awesome day on the water with the Polco sailing team - Yanis, Dina and Elena. The absolute best crew. We had a great experience on the spacious catamaran with stunning weather, a lovely group of people and really attentive and knowledgeable team. We enjoyed learning about the different places we visited and getting to know the people onboard. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade food (of which there was plenty), as well as all day refreshments and good music. There were noodles, snorkels and paddle boards to use during the swim stops too. Overall, a well-paced day with plenty to eat and lots of swimming opportunities. Our itinerary had to change due to the wind, but we were so pleased with the stops the captain chose on the day. Paralia Kato Mirsini (Poliegos) was super special! A very memorable experience - would highly recommend! We’ll never forget how clear and beautiful the water was.

Full description

Sail out of the bay of Adamantas passing the Christian catacombs and the colorful villages of Skinopi, Areti, and Fourkovouni. See the village of Klima, the capital of ancient Milos and the site where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered, and admire the ‘Arkoudes’, the impressive 20ft bear-shaped rocks at the entrance of the bay.

Sail to Cape Vani, an impressive 30-meter tall rock that was home to one of the first mineral mines in Milos. See the mines' quay before jumping in for the first swim of the day in the beautiful waters of Kalogries bay. Tuck into some homemade snacks, fresh fruit, and refreshments on the way to Sykia cave.

Arrive at Sykia and anchor in the clear green waters. Take a small dinghy into the cave and explore the salt lake with a small beach, illuminated by a natural skylight in the rock above. Enjoy some delicious snacks when you return to the boat with soft drinks or local wine, beer, and greek traditional liquor.

Journey to Kleftiko, the old pirates' lair. This complex of arches and caves is the perfect place to snorkel. Jump back into the dinghy to explore the Kleftiko caves and capture unforgettable photos with the underwater cameras. Dry off and enjoy a delicious meal here in Kleftiko.

On the return journey, relax on the deck or join us in the cockpit to help steer the boat. Take one final swim in the bay of Agios Dimitrios, a tranquil spot inaccessible by car which offers an amazing view of Plaka and Tripiti and all the colorful villages across the bay.

Meet the crew at 9:30 AM at the port of Adamas in front of the Polco-Sailing boats (opposite Kinigos Restaurant). Look for Polco sailing flags and state the name on the booking reference. In case of a change to the meeting point or itinerary, due to weather conditions, you will be informed by email 24 hours before the cruise.

Know before you go

Unless the weather does not permit it, the cruise starts and ends at the port of Adamas. In case of an alternate starting point, a transfer from Adamas and back will be arranged and included in the price.
Depending on the weather conditions the itinerary might be modified by the activity provider to ensure your safety and the best possible experience.
In case of strong north winds, you will sail the cruise to the south side of Milos, starting from Palaiochori beach, the main destination being Kleftiko.
In the case of strong south winds, you will sail the north side of Milos and visit the inaccessible beaches of Kimolos and Poliegos.
