Overall rating
Despite difficult weather conditions and sometimes very choppy seas, we had an unforgettable time on the tour. The islands were very impressive and even though the rain kept coming, it didn't change our experience. The crew was very friendly and, to our surprise, even bilingual. The highlight was of course the spewing Stromboli with a breathtaking sunset! Great timing from the captain. *Note: You have to pick up the printed tickets from the tour guide's office next to the harbor, so plan enough time before departure.
We had a great day! Everything was explained clearly and we were able to swim and eat at both islands. 2 hours was perfect for each stay. Finally, we watched a great sunset and Stromboli and even saw some lava.
Variety and efficiency are the great aspects of this trip. History, great food and shopping, and swimming at a real cool beach with black sand and water that made it close to weightlessness.
Really enjoyed the trip and audio guide was interesting.
