Full description
Depart the port of Milazzo at 10:30 AM to travel to the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, Panarea. After sailing for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, arrive at Porto San Pietro, where you will have two free hours to visit the small seaside village. With the buggies, you can reach the ancient prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese and the magnificent bay of Cala Junco, where you’ll be dazzled by the blue of crystal-clear water.
After some time exploring, depart for Stromboli at 3:15 PM. Pass by the islets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Dattilo and Bottaro, a micro archipelago inside the main archipelago, formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano into the sea.
At about 4.30 PM, reach the port of Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Visit Piazza San Vincenzo, where you will have a panoramic view of Strombolicchio, a volcanic sea stack with a picturesque lighthouse on its summit.
Spectacular views present themselves on the journey back, when you will have the opportunity to see Sciara del Fuoco and the crater’s eruptions from the sea.
