Explore Verona and Lake Garda on a guided day trip from Milan. Depart from Milan and travel to the city of Verona. Explore the city on a walking tour with your guide and discover the famous sights that inspired Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. See the famous balcony of the Capulet residence where Romeo was said to have called out to his beloved Juliet. Continue to admire the magnificent Roman amphitheater, Piazza Mercato, and other historic landmarks in the heart of the city. Enjoy some free time exploring the city independently, where you can purchase lunch in one of the splendid local cafes. After lunch, head to Sirmione, a small fortified town at the end of a narrow peninsula on Lake Garda. Admire the wonderful panoramic views on the eastern and western shores of the lake. Enjoy a short guided tour of the town, and choose to join an optional boat tour on the lake. Afterward, relax on the return journey to Milan.

We had a great day trip to Verona and Lake Garda! Rosela our guide for the day was wonderful in addition to our driver, Javier. Our local guide in Verona for our walking tour was wildly talented as a professor at the university. He totally made the visit five stars! I'd recommend for anyone who's been to Milan before and looking to adventure outside of Lombardy in the Veneto region.

Verona is a very beautiful historical city but Juliette’s house in the summer is SO crowded. Lake Garda was magical but it was windy so we unfortunately did half a ride with the boat not a full one, but the overall experience and Sirmione were so so beautiful! Also our guides both in the trip and in Verona were so helpful and informative every step of the way.

I enjoyed the trip, however I think too much time was spent in Verona, the town is very crowded and food was not very good, very touristy. Would recommend spending more time in Lake Garda area as there are more things to do, better choices in food and the town is super cute. Highly recommend the boat tour in Lake Garda. The tour guide Rosalia was fabulous though, super nice and informative.
