Guide was great - she loved the church as well, and explained it’s history outside. Before seeing Last Supper she gave some background and history; then afterwards talked about the restoration process as well. And of course seeing it was the highlight - while only 15 minutes or so, was unrushed - plenty of time, with additional insight into how painted, patron family, Leonardo in Milan, etc.

The tour guides and people working at the museum were very accommodating and nice. My fiancé and I took the train the wrong way and arrived after our meeting point (before the entry point though) and they helped us get in even though our tour had already entered. The paintings and history learned were incredible, I highly recommend going!

Our tour guide Silvana was really knowledgeable and provided a lot of historical context on the painting that we did not know. It was a smaller group, I think 12 people which made it easier to see and hear. Worth the money to get a ticket and historical information. I don’t think people will appreciate it as much without a tour guide.
