Full description

Skip the lines at Santa Maria delle Grazie with your priority access to admire Leonardo's Last Supper, and at the Gothic Duomo and the magnificent Church of San Maurizio. On a program divided into morning and afternoon sessions, your guide will take you on a journey through time from the medieval Mercanti Square to the Church San Satiro, with its trompe l'oeil perspective, to the provocative L.O.V.E. sculpture by Maurizio Cattelan. Take a leisurely walk along the fashion capital’s posh Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, and enjoy the elegant atmosphere of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with its many boutiques and cafès. Dream of operas and ballets in front of world-famous La Scala Opera House and imagine what it must have been like to live in the imposing Sforza Castle, home to intrigues and backstabbing.

Great walking tour with a guide. We booked this activity hoping to see some of the highlights in Rome that we might have missed. Our guide, CRISTINA, was very knowledgeable and she took her time explaining to us, in English and Spanish, as needed. I was expecting a big group, but it was only our family of four. We got lucky. Once again, CRISTINA was great and I wish we could have more tours with her.

We had an amazing tour today with Ludovic (hi-lites: Last Supper, Duomo). He was engaging, funny and had non-stop knowledge. It was a full day tour that flew by; well paced, with breaks for coffee and lunch. The audio headsets worked well so you could meander around a bit if desired. His English was excellent, and he’s fluent in French and Italian. He’s clearly knows his material well. He was easily able to answer questions from the group. Everyone had a great time. R&C

I cannot stress enough how wonderful and flawless this tour was. Well managed by a very knowledgeable, professional, and lively tour guide. ‘Charlie’ was exceptionally dynamic, yet, controlled the pace (while walking and while speaking) to accommodate the needs of every member of the group. I was 2 minutes late, running to meet my group, and received a phone call and voicemail from the office just a minute before the specific meeting time. The places/spots visited, geographic area covered, historic facts, entertaining side stories or commentary, all in the backdrop of the Bellísima Milan, will be surely remembered. We were given adequate breaks and snack/lunch time. Athough I was worried about a ‘6 hour’ walking tour, Charlie made it easy.
