Walk along Via Dante to Piazza dei Mercanti, site of the city’s medieval market.

Donatella was an excellent guide filled with incredible knowledge of not only the sites in the tour, but of everything that was en route to the sites as well. Unfortunately, the tour i booked fell on a day where there was a music festival happening right in front of the Duomo so we were unable to visit it in the end. But do book this tour when possible, you will not regret it! Ps: do take not that this walking tour does not enter any of the sites in the description other than the Last Supper. The rest are all viewed from the outside.

The tour guide was very helpful . We walked through the building and learned that the original artwork by Leonardo Da Vinci was covered by at least 10 layers of paint and colors . The restoration process took long time and the last time it was restored in 1999 as the building was severely damaged in 1943. The story was very intriguing. Thank you

Donatella was AMAZING! Her knowledge and her excitement for The Last Supper is what made this tour worth every penny! She was able to keep the group together as well is keeping us informed all along the way. I'm partially handicapped and she made sure I was taken care of. THANK YOU, R&P from New York City!1!
