It was an early time to meet in the morning but well worth it for the trip. The bus ride there was in a comfortable coach bus. We had sufficient rest breaks to buy something to eat, drink and toilets. The guide was very informative . In each stop the guide provided good instructions. St Moritz was beautiful. The lake had frozen over and there were Surry horse racing. A very attractive town. The train ride back was beautiful seeing glaciers, people engaged in Winter sports, safely winding along many S curving tracks to finall reach the train ending. The bus ride back to Milan was pleasant. I slept a lot.

  • The train trip will not be in 1st class (panoramic carriage), but in 2nd class where you can open the windows to take photos
  • Infants under 2 are free, but they must sit on their parent's lap
  • During the tour, you are given a radio system to hear the guide clearly, but if the device is lost or not returned you will have to pay a 50 EURO fee
  • The train itinerary may change to ensure the best experience, so the train ride could start from St.Moritz to Tirano.

Everything was great except the walking tours in Tirano which was almost 10 minutes in which we have stayed in the bus and for st. Moritz the same we could not find a proper restaurant ti eat and only fancy shops like Gucci , Dior etc that few can buy from them . Also I forgot to mention that only half an hour after we depart Milano the bus stoped at a restaurant on the road , was crowed and long line till u get to the cashier to pay so no time left to eat what u bought . So U believe instead of wasting our time in this restaurant it was much better if we had our lunch in Tirano.

If you are in Milan and dream of the red train, you can join this full-day program without any hesitation. After a scenic bus ride with a guide all day long (by the way, our guide Sonian was great), you start a dreamy journey with Bernina Express. The meeting point is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. If you go behind the famous gallery and turn right at the lights on your left, you can find the bus there. We panicked because we had some trouble and felt the need to write.
