Full description
Explore the Cinque Terre, one of Italy's most scenic landscapes, on this day trip from Milan. The "Five Lands" (translation of "Cinque Terre") are five enchanting medieval villages clinging to the coast with a breathtaking sight of the sea, which are now part of a national park listed by the UNESCO as World Heritage. After leaving Milan by coach, you will arrive in Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the Cinque Terre's five villages. You will take some time exploring the small fisherman town, before boarding for a boat trip to Vernazza to visit the nice village. It is one of the five towns (Cinque Terre) that makes up the Cinque Terre region. It is the fourth town heading North. With no no car traffic it remains one of the truest "fishing villages" on the Italian Riviera. Restaurants, bars, and accommodation all have an endearingly homespun air about them. From Monterosso, start the final leg of your journey: a 1.5-hour boat cruise, where you can admire the stunning views of the Cinque Terre and the delightful village of Portovenere from the sea. Arrive at La Spezia where your coach will be waiting to take you back to Milan.

We took this guided trip to Cinque terre. It was definitely worth the money and convenience. The bus was very comfortable and equipped. The guide Sabrina was very nice. The are of Cinque Terre is very beautiful. It was a good 1 day trip and not very tiring due to the way they had arranged the transportation between bus, train and boat. There was also time in between for lunch and stroll around the villages

The place is incredible: it is absolutely to do. However our experience had some inconsistencies with the offer described: the mediocre coach without the possibility of recharging (we are sold a "luxury coach", group of 40 (instead of 10) The guide was a good leader but did not not really shared the history of the 5 lands, nor anecdotes After the experiences very probably vary from one reservation to another but it was disappointing for us

Our guida was Inna, and she was excellent: the information she gives is interesting and timely, while also giving us space to relax, either on the bus, on our free time at the villages where we stopped, or on the train/boat. The tour included a smooth and confortable bus ride to Manarola, where we spent approximatedly 1 hour, then a train ride to Monterosso, where we spent approximatedly 2 hours (we had lunch here), followed by a boat ride that offered views from the ocean side to all of the 5 villages that make Cinque Terre (with a brief 15 minute stop at a village not officially part of Cinque Terre), followed by a bus ride back to Milan. The tour was professional, well-run, and very organized, allowing us enough time to explore the villages without any rush, and giving us interesting information about the places we passed / visited.
