Very good, a lot of stairs so be wary. It didn’t include church access but even on this booking you still get to go into the church, but just a smaller area of it. Would also recommend booking at sunset too!
An absolutely amazing experience, my husband & I were blown away by the magnificence of the Duomo - the intricacy of the marble sculptures and the astounding amount of sculptures and statues, particularly when viewed from the rooftop terraces, has to be seen to be believed. There are 135 spires on top of the Duomo and each one has a statue on top. You need to be moderately fit to climb the 250 internal marble steps (and the staircase can be a little claustrophobic) as you will have people right behind you going up. Once up there, the view is breathtaking, you can even see the snow-covered alps in the distance. Once on the terraces, you can take as long as you like to enjoy the view, then make your way down the 250 steps to the exit. Much to our surprise, you walk through the cathedral to exit the building, so we able to take photos of the inside, as well as the outside. I strongly recommend buying 9am tickets as you will be the first group of people on the terraces for the day.
