Took 2day Athens, Piraeus HOHO bus Dec 27 and 28, 2024. Both routes are operating although the Piraeus line only run 3 times a day at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Stayed at Syntagma so it is 5 mins walk away to the bus stop (A1). We took the HOHO bus to survey the POI around town by just sitting for the whole loop first and then depending on the distance either retake the bus to go to a specific POI we like, or walk. Googling does not provide current info as of the day. Quite happy with the bus since it serves my need.

The Information guide (who was standing with the red jacket) at the main tourist shopping area in the Plaka was very helpful, as well as the person at stop 1. Most of the signs for the bus were easy to locate.

I found the three routes very nice. When we were at the bus stop in Guide, we were immediately told when the next bus was coming. I can recommend the 48-hour ticket for all 3 lines.

Great way to get around the city! Reliable services and friendly staff

Excellent guide. He was prompt and accommodating to our needs.
