We had lots of fun on our day trip to Chichen Itza. The guide kept us all entertained on the way there and was very knowledgeable about the Mayan civilization and its influence on today’s society. At the ruins, another guide gave us an English-only tour which was also very insightful and we learned a lot. The time at the Chichikan cenote and lunch in the Mayan community were also very nice and we got some quick pictures in Valladolid as well. Overall I highly recommend it as a great value for the money. Just be aware that it’s a long day which can go over 12 hours and it only includes the buffet lunch. So it’s a good idea to bring snacks and drinks or be prepared to purchase them in Valladolid or at Chichén Itzá for the ride back.
