Full description
Be collected from the meeting point and take the road to Mixquic, a town that symbolizes the essence of the ritual of death. It is decorated to celebrate the traditional Day of the Dead with beautiful carpets of sawdust, cempasuchil flowers, pre-Hispanic dances, and colorful altars. This is one of the most important celebrations in Mexico because families gather to visit the cemetery and decorate the tombs of their deceased family, giving offerings such as fruit, water, salt, a typical bread called "pan de muerto", and candles. Dare to learn more about how the locals receive their deceased relatives and friends in a truly unusual ritual.

The guide almost leaves us without seeing the lighting that is what we went to. He said that there were many people in the Pantheon and that we would not be able to enter. Luckily I managed on my own and went up to a viewpoint. And other tour companions came with me. He guides a disaster. It left us without the main event of the tour. Surely inoperance of the local operator. I did well because I ended up doing it on my own. The chantas tour

+ A wonderful festival that you should definitely have experienced. - Unfortunately, the transport from the organizer on site did not work - people were picked up from the hotel in small buses (even with a delay and then drove through the city) so that we were only 90 minutes late at the agreed meeting point with the large buses have left and then waiting again (these 2 hours were of course missing on site). - Had the feeling that the guide didn't really know himself.
