Take in the 3 most culturally and historically important sites in the Mexico City area on a full-day tour that includes visits to Teotihuacan, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Tlatelolco. Your tour begins with a visit to the archeological site of Teotihuacan, where you’ll marvel at some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. See the Sun and Moon pyramids, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Avenue of the Dead, and more. Next you’ll head to Mexico’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site, the basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This shrine was built to commemorate the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego, an Aztec peasant. The third and final stop of the tour is Tlatelolco, where it is said that the past, present, and future of Mexico meet. The Plaza de las Tres Culturas is named after the 3 periods of Mexican history that are represented by structures from the pre-Columbian, Spanish colonial, and the independent mestizo nation.

Jorge the guide is fantastic! His knowledgeable about all of the venues is extensive, he is excited to share with the group, his English is very good, he is willing to answer any and all questions, and he is a world traveler himself. The van in which we were transported, however, was too crowded for the amount of people who booked the activity. Three people ended up taking an Uber back to CDMX from Teotihuacan because they were feeling claustrophobic.

This trip was great! We booked less than 24 hours ahead of time and it all went very smooth. Being picked up at our Air Bnb was super helpful and the ride was easy. All of the stops we made were amazing places to visit and explore. We had adequate time to see the main sites listed here and take all the pictures necessary while taking in the culture. Alan and our driver Abel were funny and great guides. Alan gave us great information at each stop and guides us to all the main points before giving time to explore ourselves. Thank you Alan and Abel! We had a great day.

Great tour, great service, even better atmosphere! Alan our tour guide was incredibly entertaining and so passionate about teaching us about all the history of the places we visited. The pick up and drop off from Airbnb feature was definitely a plus for us that way we didn’t have to worry about being late. The places we visited were absolutely astounding and couldn’t have asked for a better first time Mexico City experience.
