What people are saying about Mexico City

This was a spectacular hike! Stunning scenery, and fantastic guide!

This was an amazing experience. It was definitely a climb though, not what I would have called a 'hike'. Gerson was a wonderful, diligent, enthusiastic and very entertaining guide. We covered quite a bit altitude in the van up to the park entrance, signed in, and after driving into the park on a crazy road (7 km took 35 min- I'm glad we weren't doing the driving!) got out to start walking. Our guide helped us deal with the challenges of altitude, but we were certainly climbing. We could not have gone any further without proper gear, and even to get to gate two without gear was really hard. But- so worth it! It's a spectacular place, but certainly not a trip to try unless you're really ready for it. One guy in our group decided to stay at the starting point after seeing the initial ascent. After descending we stopped at the most amazing roadside for stand for some the best food we ate in our whole trip tp Mexico.

An easy to moderate hike in the high altitude with great views

After a 2-3 hrs drive, the hike started at about 4000 m and we hiked up to an altitude of 4400 m on the shoulder of Iztaccíhuatl. It was okay for all members of the diverse group, and our guide Sergio did a great job of watching after the slower members while allowing the faster members some freedom. It was a clear and sunny day, so being in the snow didn’t feel cold. Views of Popocatepetl and Iztaccíhuatl were fabulous. On the way back we stopped at a taco place where I had some of the best tacos in my life (hey, but I was quite hungry, too). Highly recommended.

Great event to get engaged with your true love

Although they were one and a half hours late with our balloon, the team did their best to make our engagement an unforgettable event. They organized a banner on the ground labelled "do you want to marry me" (written in Spanish), and came up with a bottle of sparkling wine and some snacks including bits of cheese and ham, some grapes and strawberries. Throughout the whole flight the crew truly shared our happiness and after the landing they additionally took some pictures with us and the banner. This was a perfect day, thanks again for these precious moments!!!

Very nice tour with much local flavour, we liked it.

Our thanks to the guide, who was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. It first needed a long time to get to the Coximilcho Channels because of the rush hour, but this was not his fault. A flat tire needed repair. The drivers should know how to change a wheel; the supplementary wheel should have rubber profile. But the boat tour itself was very nice, we felt happy among the many boats with singing and dancing people, the boat gliding slowly along the channel, really beautiful !

If you are going to Mexico, you've got to go to Taxco!

Taco is a delightful old-European-style city that was a unique experience. It's beautiful to see and a marvelously relaxing day. The shop people are very warm and down-to-Earth without that oversell pressure that is typical in Mexico. Our guide was an affable young man, glad to answer questions, who gave us some unique perspectives. I could have skipped Cuernevaca, but at lease we didn't spend much time there...
