Full description

The Murals Mexico City takes you through the heart and soul of Mexico’s artistic heritage. In this tour, each mural unveils a piece of Mexico’s soul, where colors and narratives blend seamlessly, and where the artistry of Diego Rivera, Alfaro Siqueiros, and Clemente Orozco ignites a passion for the rich artistic spirit of Mexican culture.

As you step into the hallowed halls of Palacio de Bellas Artes, you’ll be transported into a realm where Diego Rivera‘s colossal murals come alive. His brushstrokes tell stories of revolution, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of justice. The vibrant colors and intricate details breathe life into Mexico’s past and present, leaving you awestruck by his genius.

Next, we venture to Colegio de San Ildefonso, a sanctuary of art where the monumental works of David Alfaro Siqueiros command attention. His murals are a symphony of social commentary, challenging the norms and igniting conversations about the human condition. Prepare to be moved as you witness his powerful depictions that mirror the struggles and triumphs of the Mexican people.

Our journey continues to Mercado Abelardo Rodriguez, a bustling market infused with the spirit of Clemente Orozco‘s murals. Here, the ordinary becomes extraordinary as Orozco’s artwork adorns the market’s walls, celebrating the resilience and vibrancy of everyday life in Mexico.

Discover the magic, the history, and the sheer brilliance that lies within these murals, and let the stories they tell leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Ari was a fantastic host she made sure to take on board my preferences. She gave me in-depth knowledge of the murals we visited and made it so interesting and gave me an overview of politics at the time and the stories behind the paintings and the artists lives. She was fantastic even after the tour giving me recommendations for various different things to visit in Coyoacán as a was spending time there the next day. She made me feel extremely welcome to reach out to her for any other advice I might need as well. She was just a lovely person and was on time and took the time to stop for breaks as I needed. I would not have been able to appreciate these murals of the great Mexican muralists without the lovely ari’s tour. I hope to be able to come back to Mexico City to see more of the muralists work and I would definitely book Ari again to take me around. Be sure to book this tour if you are a lover of art. Ari is the perfect host and you won’t regret it. Thank so much to ari
