I lucked out and had my tour on one of the 4 nights a year that major avenues are shut down just for biking in the city. Pablo did a fantastic job blending these festivities and hitting the other big spots. He is super friendly and had a great sense of humor and passion for the biking community. In conversation throughout the tour I learned about the history of Mexico City and a good deal about the culture and other "insider" tips for the rest of my stay. Pablo's bike tours are a must anytime but especially if you've just arrived and want to know what you have to see/visit before you go.

If your going to do one thing in Mexico City, this is it!!! We went 2nd November (Day of the Dead) as most roads were closed to traffic in the old town, but still open for bikes - so we got around with easy, but Danny will keep you right. Danny our tour guide was out of this world. His knowledge of Mexico City and culture, is 2nd to none. Forget the hop-on-hop-off bus, Danny is your man. The overall experience was fun, relaxed, informative, exciting and one I will never forget. I would do this at the start of your trip, it will give you loads of ideas for places to go back during the rest of your trip. (like the Churrería El Moro, you'll find your self going back for more). Massive Thank You to Danny @ the Poráy Team. One bit of advise take a jumper or jacket, especially during November.
