Full description
This unique Mexico City tour starts at a typical Mexican pub called a ‘cantina’. Enjoy a couple drinks, a light dinner, and get to know the rest of the travelers on your tour. During dinner, your local guide will give you a briefing for the evening, including the basic rules of the eccentric Lucha Libre. Lucha Libre, the second-most watched sport in Mexico, is one of the most exciting things you can do while visiting Mexico City. Immerse yourself in the crazy, exciting, energetic atmosphere from your great arena seats and watch some of the best wrestlers in the country fight it out. To keep the excitement going, head to the Mexican musician’s square of Garibaldi, after the fight, to experience Mariachi music and many other Mexican music bands. Enjoy the atmosphere of the square and visit other clubs and pubs in the vicinity with the rest of your party tour group.

I had trouble securing tickets to the lucha so I went this route. We felt we got much more than expected! Our guide was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. It was nice to be guided through the city by someone so polite and traveled. We hit venues and areas that weren’t on my list but were cool. It was nice not being pulled into tourist traps and sticking to known establishments for this tour. The other guests all seemed to have a great experience with us also.

Eduardo was an excellent guide. We went to the tequila museum, had a tasting, then mariachis at garibaldi square and went to a cantina. Then off to the game. All of these areas a bit sketchy at night so it was nice to not worry about it. Good value for money and very entertaining. Muchos gracias Eduardo!
