I had a nice evening. Van pick-up at a hotel nearby and met a bunch of folks from other countries. We attended the Arena de Ciudad México for an evening of about 6 matches. We got an explanation of vocabulary to use during the match, which definitely helped with participation and enjoyment. I good experience.

Overall, the show was electrifying and extremely entertaining - would highly recommend attending if visiting Mexico City! However, booking tickets outside of the tour may be best. My partner and I took an Uber to the arena instead of the transportation that was scheduled to pick us up 2.5 hours ahead of the tour start time. The tour guide met us outside the arena with our tickets, gave us the spark note version of each competitor and helped us to our seats, which were pretty good. By the end of the show, I realized we weren’t offered tequila or souvenir masks. I asked our tour guide about the masks and she looked like she had no idea what I was talking about. We ended up ubering ourselves home and decided that we could have had this experience regardless of booking the tour.

This is an incredible experience. It's not what you see with American wrestling. The competition is filled with excitement, amazing athletes, comedians and great audience attention and participation. Each match is unique with unique characters/wrestlers. I really thought it would be a waste but I enjoyed every minute
