What people are saying about Mexico City

A great walk through Mexican history through art... and food!

Ernie, our guide, was simply fantastic. Great energy for our group of 6 U.S. tourists. During our walking tour he fed us a diet of art, history, revolution, moles, huaraches... and crickets! Our entire group (strangers when we met), bonded pretty quickly with Ernie walking us through some fantastic parts of Mexico City (the witchcraft and flower markets were particularly intriguing). He was an exceptional host: answering our barrage of questions with equal enthusiasm, and doling out great tidbits about the neighborhoods we were in, the food we were inhaling, and the art we were soaking up. He's the kind of guy I would have hired at my old business. He is truly just "there" for his groups. The crickets were delicious, btw.

The look into everyday's life of people who live in D.F.

My boyfriend and I both enjoyed this tour greatly. Cesar was our guide and he did a great job showing us around and explaining history behind some of the places we've visited. He was very helpful in answering our questions and giving tips for the rest of our stay at D.F. The tour was very special, since it's definitely not something you may see on a regular touristy-tour. We've visited five local markets around the city and got to try some of the unique local foods like mamey smoothy, huaraches, and tamales. Don't eat much before the tour, because you'll definitely need space for all the delicious street foods.

informational, great guide and extremely enriching

our guide, Alma, is a very capable bilingual lady who pays attention to everyone in the group. She is very well-versed in her knowledge of all the places we go to and gives everyone substantial free time to roam on our own while balancing it well with the time taken to explain and teach us about the places we visit. :)

A great way to discover the food and markets of Mexico City.

We had a great time with Alfonso touring around the city. Tasting all the food at the markets and taking mass transit were a great way to experience the city as a local.

Very tailor-made and off the beaten track.

The guide Ulysses planned everything very well and told us a lot of informative things with a perfect English. We would book a tour again with Ulysses at any time.
