What to Expect
We started our trip with a Panoramic Tour of Cuernavaca, the city of Eternal Spring, admiring one of the oldest cathedrals in America “Palacio de Córtes”, as well as their houses and streets, then take road towards Taxco, the "city silver "
After being caught by mother nature, because the scenic route of the Sierra Madre in order to reach Taxco, we will arrive to this colonial city with hundreds of years of history, situated on a hill, with cobbled streets, tiled buildings, cozy squares with an old world atmosphere that has survived through hundreds of years.
We will visit one of the most beautiful churches in Mexico, Santa Prisca, a construction of 1759 order by the French immigrant Jose de la Borda who literally stumbled upon a huge silver vein that made him one of the richest men in the New Spain. Finally walk through its beautiful cobbled streets to admire the work of local artisans silver.
