It was a good way to learn about Meteora and its monasteries. There were photo opportunities given, but often difficult to take because of the setting of the sun. The guide was knowledgeable and kind, the driver was very safe and the bus was comfortable. You do share your sunset with 100s of others but it was beautiful.

I would not hestitate to say that this was one of the very best tour of our travel life. Our guide Antonio from Meteora Thrones is a kind, knowledgeable and friendly person. He picked us from the hotel and it was a small group of 3 couples. Throughout the whole journey Antonio shared stories about monasteries, life of monks, nuns and also about his childhood as he grew up near Kalampaka, Meteora. We first went to the Monastery of Agios Stefanos, as it is the only monastery that is open until 5.30 pm. Rest all monasteries close around 3 pm. After this monastery, Antonio took us through all other monasteries from outside and made a stop at all picturesque locations for magnificent views - Meteora and the monasteries are actually very beautiful and definitely worth a visit when in Greece. It was an unbelievable experience of our lives. Thanks Antonio and Meteora Thrones to make our trip memorable. 100% recommended!!!

This was a great tour. our guide, Clemens, was very passionate which made us more excited for everything. I whole heatedly recommend this tour. my only quibble would have either let us visit two monasteries instead of the church or let us decide which to do. the church was great, and I am glad we went there, but it was strange bc we booked a tour for Metorea and then we went into town to see the churches. That aside, this was great. You really get a sense of the history as well as the ability to see the monasteries, and there were a couple of photo ops that I wouldn't have found if they weren't shown to me
