Available on January 9th. I fully enjoyed the Sahara Desert and enjoyed dancing to Berber music without thinking. Dinner was also palatable and delicious. My husband and I had stayed at the meeting place, Hotel Kasber Mohayut, the day before, so we were able to relax in the shared space until the meeting time. It was very cold in the desert in January with a temperature of 4°C, so warm clothes are recommended. I couldn't take a shower at night, but it looked like I could take a shower the next day after breakfast. There was a toilet with a western-style toilet seat in the camp. Our guide took some pictures for us during the camel ride. I gave him some tips.

Incredible and unique experience, from camel riding in the silence of the dunes to singing under the starry sky. We specially chose this tour starting from Ait Ben-Haddou. I recommend bringing warm clothes both for the night (the tents are covered in thick fabrics but nothing airtight) and for the next morning, as you go out at dawn and the air is far from hot! An added value was the hotel chosen as a base: before the guide arrived, they made us sit in the lounges by the pool and the day after, upon returning, they offered us a rich breakfast and the opportunity to take a shower. In short, the experience was worth the hours of driving!

The tour started punctually at 5 p.m., before that we were able to rest in the hotel. First we were brought to the camels by jeep, which took about 10 minutes. Then the camel ride started over the dunes, about 1.5 hours, where we watched the sunset and could try sandboarding. Then we rode about 20 minutes to the desert camp. The camp was clean and had its own toilet and running water. Everyone had a private tent with a large bed. Dinner had 4 courses and was delicious and typical of Morocco. Before bed we sat around the campfire listening to the drums and chants of our guides and stargazing. The next day we got up early to see the sunrise, we could do that either by car or camel. Back at the hotel there was a delicious breakfast buffet. Overall a great tour that I can definitely recommend. The guides were very fond of animals, which was important to me.
