What People Are Saying About Merzouga

One of the most beautiful things I have seen in life.

This was one of the most interesting experiences I have had in life. The things we saw were really beautiful, the group was really intimate and the guide was always up for a good laugh. Yes, indeed, you spend a lot of time in the mini van, but therefor you get a lot of different landscapes on the way. We have seen the Atlas mountains, the desert and the steppes. We have seen lots of cute towns, restaurants and met really helpful people. I would recommend this trip to everyone as it is a one life opportunity I think. One thing, make sure you take enough clothes with you in the sahara, cause when the sun goes down the temperature immediately starts to drop really fast.

Marrakech-Sahara Merzouga Erg Chebbi Tour

Very good bus driver with great sense of humour and helpful. Trip very well planned without wasting any minute. I realy recommend this agency.

We had high expactations, but it even exceeded our expactations.

We had an amazing trip and it was very well organized. We got picked on time and had no problems during the whole trip. Especially our driver Mohammed was great, very funny and helpful. And we always felt safe during our drive. The people at the hotel and in the desert were really nice, too. We had an amazing evening with traditional Music and very good food. We would do the trip again.

Exceptional adventures all across Morocco

We had an amazing time with our guide, Abe, and driver Mohammad. Abe, who is not typically a guide was actually auditing the trip to ensure it met Ando's standards, and allowed us to have a private tour as my best friend Thomas and I were the only people who had booked the trip for those days. This transformed our tour into a private tour allowing us amazing opportunities. On nearly any topic we found Abe to be knowledgeable, eloquent and honest. Discussions ranged from the state of education, details on architecture and construction, the langua franca, geopolitics, agriculture, the ancient history of the Berber people and everywhere in between. The nights out in the desert were wonderful. The camel ride on the second trip to the dunes is about two or two and a half hours each way, and while it is beautiful it is very cold, which seems intuitively obvious now, but I was not prepared for. Abe generously lent me his coat, which eased the trip considerably, but 5:30AM is frigid.

Enjoyed the trip, unique experience in the desert.

The trip was good, we, a young couple, enjoyed it very much. Seeing the dunes and sleeping in a berber tent added great value to our trip to Morocco. For the price the value is absolutely great. Beware that the driver does not speak English but some French. Apart from the driver, there were some tours around the old city, oasis, desert and these people spoke French, English and other languages. If you are flexible and not too picky this is absolutely worth it. If you want a luxury fully guided tour, then go for something else. For us, this was great, a nice group of people, a very good and safe bus driver and we got all the essentials in terms of sightseeing.
