Both the Archeological tour and the Hacienda were amazing in themselves. But I really did love the cave swim! I had never down anything like that before and it was truly amazing. Our guide Elias was really great bringing us around the ruins, giving us a great guided tour of the Uxmal ruins! We thoroughly enjoyed our day! 10/10 would highly recommend

Wonderful day! We had a fantastic guide and driver Elias, he was very knowledgeable with perfect English. Elias drove very safely and made us very comfortable. We were provided with a muesli bar, water, coke and we're provided with an umbrella for shade at Uxmal Mayan ruins. Were not rushed and had plenty of time for exploring the whole area and taking lots of photos. We then went to the cenotes ( fresh water caves) We were worried initially as is seemed to be very crowded but we were put into an English speaking group and given tour of the hacienda (old house and business) then led to Cenotes area to get changed and ready for swim. The experience in the Cenotes was magical, it is a MUST if you are in Merida or nearby. We had lunch after the swim at the restaurant onsite. ( At our own cost) The food was lovely and arrived quickly.

Full description

Pick up from your hotel in the historic city center
08:00 am to 08:30 am
departure with direct transfer to the archaeological zone of UXMAL, the jewel of the Mayan culture
09:30 am, upon arriving at the area, follow our guide's instructions to be able to purchase your tickets quickly.
09:40 am Our tour begins through the Jewel of the Mayan Culture, with our expert guide you will visit the most emblematic buildings of the Mayan city, the Temple of the Fortune Teller, the nuns' quadrangle, the governor's palace, the house of the turtles, the temple of the macaws.
Our tour ends at 11:40 am and you will have free time inside, we will depart sharply at 12:00 noon.
12:00 noon, we will take the road to Hacienda Mucuyche,
13:00 hrs | Arrival at the Hacienda and you will enjoy a historical tour of the hacienda and our adventure will continue with its 2 cenotes "Carlota" & "Cenote Azul Maya".
3:30 p.m., at the end of the tour, you can visit the farm's restaurant (à la carte service with direct payment),
16:45 hrs, we will depart back to the city of Mérida.
17:45 hrs, arrival in the city.

I can’t believe how much we got out of our day with this tour. Kumin was an incredible and deeply knowledgeable guide who shared histories, stories and insights that we don’t think we could have gotten from anyone else.
