Really pleased we booked this trip. I took my three children - eight, twelve and twenty. The coach arrived on time and was air conditioned and comfortable. First pickup was Playacar at 7.30am so 2 hours on the way out. Our guides, Susana and Ivonne, gave clear instructions about meeting points and also interesting information about Tulum as we were going round the site. They also offered sun umbrellas. We went on a less hot day but it was still 33 degrees and very humid. I was very glad I didn’t try to do one of the longer tours. My eldest and I really enjoyed seeing the ruins but my youngest two were very hot and only interested in the iguanas there! The Cenotes are amazing - my three loved them, and so did I. They are very different and both are so worth the trip. Swings at the Mariposa cenote. Compulsory life jackets at both. Showers required before use. Bring your own water to Tulum - single use plastic bottles NOT OK, but hard plastic reusable flasks, cans OK.
