Full description
Mendoza is one of the greatest wine regions of the world. With more than 1,500 wineries spread out through Lujan de Cuyo, Valle de Uco and Maipu regions, explore wide open spaces with nothing but vines, mountain grandeur and blue skies. Mendoza is a successful example of an irrigation system of canals inherited from the Huarpes, the native inhabitants of this region, that turned the desert into a modern-day oasis. Visit two wineries, taste wine, walk amidst vineyards and learn how the wine is made. Then enjoy a special lunch accompanied by excellent wines suggested by the wineries. Visit two selected wineries in the Luján de Cuyo, Maipú or Valle de Uco regions. Your enologist guides will explain the process of winemaking. Following this educational lesson, you will also have the chance to taste some of the best wines in the region in both wineries. Have an incredible lunch in one of the wineries, depending on the option selected.

It was excellent, punctual when they picked us up at the hotel with a very comfortable van. The first stop was at Nieto Senetiner, the excellent guided tour, very well explained and complete. The tasting was with lunch where each dish a wine was served to us and that harmonizes perfectly. The dishes served were sensational, starter, main course and dessert, all with great charm and delicacy. The service was very good, friendly, courteous, professional and efficient. Note 1000! After that magnificent lunch we went to 2 more wineries and an olive oil factory. Anyway, a sensational experience, exceeded our expectations.

Everything was very well planned and organized. We wonder what leads to Zuccardi that has good wines, offering the most common wines at tasting and lunch. They could have a tasting with young wines and another with the reserve. In fact, the choice of wines offered did not encourage me to buy them. A feather!

Ongoing communication was lacking, we had a guide when picking up guests from hotel and he left the bus without any explanation of what would happen or where we would be going. We dropped two people from our bus at Trapiche winery but the driver indicated we should stay in the bus before driving us to Bodega Lopez. The winery tour was informative but again we were left to our own devices and sent upstairs to the restaurant - there were no staff in attendance, and we stood waiting not really sure if we were in the right place. Once staff appeared, lunch was delicious but when finished we had to wait 20mins, not knowing if our driver was returning and at what time. It was a different bus and driver that then took us to the Olive Oil premises and from there we finally had some guidance and still another bus and driver. The company might like to consider providing written information about what will happen if they don’t have staff that speak English, otherwise, don’t offer a tour in English
