What to Expect
Discover the best of both Argentinean and Chilean wine on this 8 day tour across the Andes. Explore Santiago before heading to the Maipo Valley where some of Chile's best wine is produced. Climb to the Andes' highest peak and walk around Mendoza City.

Take in the different microclimates in the region of Lujan de Cuyo and savor the area's delicious wines. Stop by the Uco Valley and learn about the different types of wines that are being experimented with in the region. Enjoy a delicious, local, and traditional meal made by Chef Lucas Bustos.

Day 1: Santiago
Arrive at the Santiago Airport and enjoy a meet and greet with your guide. Afterwards, head to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 2: Santiago
After lunch, begin your trip through Chile's capital. Visit the most important historical sites including Plaza de Armas and the Presidential Palace. Pass by the Mercado Central, one of Chile's largest fresh seafood markets, and stroll by the bustling stalls to learn about the tremendous variety of fish. Continue to the lesser know barrios of Santiago like Republica and Concha y Toro. Walk through the Parque Forestal and pass by the Bellas Artes Museum. Take in a stunning view of the city from the top of Cerro San Cristobal. Return to your hotel at the end of the day to spend the night.

Day 3: Santiago - Maipo Valley
Depart Santiago at 9:00 and drive south along the foothills of the Andes to the Maipo Valley. Named after the Maipo River, the Maipo Valley is Chile's most famous wine region. Stop in at the small winery of Roberto Muñoz and learn about the winemaking process. Next, head to Perez Cruz and take in its ultra-modern architecture, state-of-the art technology, and diverse soil conditions. Stop for lunch in the town of Pirque before visiting the small boutique winery Aquitania. Spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Maipo Valley – Mendoza City
After breakfast, depart for a scenic tour across the striking landscape of the Andes. Climb to the peak of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes. Stop for lunch at the border and continue through Cristo Redentor, an international tunnel. Take in a range of truly breathtaking scenery including the second highest mountain range in the world before checking in at your hotel in Mendoza City.

Day 5: Mendoza City
Explore the city of Mendoza and visit sites like the Old Town. Discover the New City and walk around its beautiful squares and main streets. Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 6: Lujan de Cuyo
Explore the different microclimates in the region of Lujan de Cuyo to learn about Argentina's most beloved grape, the Malbec. Stop by the family-owned Bodega Dante Robino and continue to Bodega Renacer. Break for lunch at Cava de Cano and savor silky hand-crafted Syrah wine paired with simple gourmet dishes. Spend the rest of the day learning about Argentinean wine before returning to your hotel.

Day 7: Lujan de Cuyo – Uco Valley
Head toward the high-altitude Uco Valley and discover its many wineries experimenting with Cabernets, Tempranillos, and Syrahs. Visit Bodega Salentein and then move towards Bodega La Azul. Hosted by 1 of the winemakers, you'll taste Cabernet and Malbec wines. Stop for lunch at one of the great rising stars of the region – La Tupiña. This intimate and exclusive restaurant run by Chef Lucas Bustos delivers an unforgettable dining experience that puts together regional recipes with products from the Uco Valley. Spend the night in your hotel.

Day 8: Uco Valley – Mendoza Airport
Check-out from your hotel and transfer back to the Mendoza Airport with a newfound appreciation for Argentinean and Chilean wines.
