The driver is also the guide and tells the story of Memphis as you drive. At various points you get off the bus and the guide tells you a few things. Relatively at the end of the tour you get the typical American BBQ taste in a BBQ restaurant (BBQ pull pork in a bun, potato chips and a small salad. You could choose your own drink). Memphis is not too big and the tour gives you a good insight into the city and its history. The Rock'n'Roll Museum is also definitely worth a visit. Tip: Do not park in the FedExForum Gosset Motors garage. You have to pay by credit card at the exit if the scanner can read the ticket. We were then politely let out by a member of staff after realizing our ticket didn't want to be read. There are cheaper and less problematic parking options in the immediate vicinity.

Very informative and covered alot about the history of Memphis and the civil rights movement. We really enjoyed the enthusiasm and knowledge of our guide and driver. Lunch was perfect and the overall experience was a great value. We actually walked to the tour from our hotel and as we were the last occupants of the bus, the driver dropped us off at our hotel, which was greatly appreciated.

AN excellent introduction to Memphis. As you would expect, we learned plenty about Elvis and MLK, but Larry - our witty and charming driver/guide - was a fund of entertaining anecdotes about the city, it’s characters and history. If you’re a first-time visitor, this tour is a must.
