Tour guide was professional, engaging, knowledgeable, and kept our group stimulated entire time. Renee (Sarah) interacted with us at end with answering questions also. I would recommend her to any tourist/visitor. Only suggestions could be to maybe include more specific info on the historically known street riot and also maybe the Baptist church there with some of people thst came through who bwcame civil rights activists and abolishonists.

We were a group of three on a first time visit to Chicago. Our guide was excellent and his passion for architecture came through. We learned a great deal and his humour added a fun element. We had rude people from India who incessantly talked all the way through his narrative making it very hard to hear him tho the point where a group of ladies moved. These folks continued. I wish the guide felt he had the ability to ask them to shut up. One took a phone call then Skyped someone. In the end we asked them to pipe down as we couldn’t hear and we’re distracted. There’s so much to learn on these trips nd you pay a lot. The company should be able to ask people to stop talking. Take a hat and lots of water on a hot day.

Interesting. We were unsure of the exact location to meet and missed the first part of the tour. It was only a local trader who informed us that we were at the wrong spot and missed the guide. She was funny and informative. The ribs at BB Kings were amazing though. I’d go to Beal Street again just for them.
