Secure your tickets to Popeye Village, the film set of the 1980 Musical Production “Popeye” produced by Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Productions, 3 km from the village core of Mellieħa, Malta. Get access to the upper and lower complex as well as the comic museum. Roam freely around the village and walk in the footsteps of Robin Williams, enjoy a tour of the film set, be entertained by Popeye and the Gang, and become a movie star during a filming experience. Enjoy animation activities, silversmith demonstrations, and a comic and memorabilia museum. Watch a documentary and get free popcorn and a postcard. Go for a round of mini-golf at the upper complex. You can also participate in a scavenger hunt to find Olive Oyl's missing jewel. In summer, you can take part in several activities at the bay including an inflatable obstacle course, a floating pontoon, and Bedouin beds as well as 2 splash pools and a splash pool with slides for kids.

il parco è molto bello, tenuto bene, adatto per famiglie con bambini. Durante il giorno ci sono attività come balli di gruppo ecc.. consiglio di arrivare al mattino presto in modo da poter prendere i lettini omaggio che sono a disposizione. unica pecca, arrivare al parco, forse dovrebbero mettere degli shuttle.

Great day out. Not a great deal to see in the main movie set, but very cool all the same to see where the action took place. We were very pleased we went during the summer so we could make use of the sea and inflatable obstacle course. Get in early if you want to secure a lounger space, we couldn’t find one so had to use a locker for an extra €5. Restaurant had good food options but is on the pricey side. Overall, I’d recommend if you have children and it’s a summer’s day.

We've all heard about Popeye. Many of us remember watching the cartoon as kids and being told by our parents that eating spinach would make us strong like him. Even though we hated the green stuff, we ate it to be like Popeye. Those were the good old days. In Malta, you can relive those memories at Popeye Village. This very cute attraction was the set of the 1980s Popeye movie starring Robin Williams. I never visited before because i used to think it was only for kids, but I was wrong. We had a great time visiting the colorful houses, watching the shows and swimming in Anchor Bay. The workers were amazing, entertaining us with the shows all day despite the hot sun. You can also watch a short film about the making of the movie, complete with popcorn and a postcard souvenir. It was truly an unforgettable day.
