We celebrated our parents' 65th wedding anniversary. A region on the bow of the ship was reserved for the family (20 people) on request, so that we could celebrate undisturbed. The tables were beautifully set and decorated with flowers. The staff specially assigned for us was very, very nice and cooperative. The drive through the Wachau was very nice! Air conditioning in the ship would not have hurt, however. The 3 course menu was okay. However, the turkey meat served in the main course was very dry and not all tasted good. The vegetarian version of the menu, however, was successful. Overall, however, we all had a lot of fun and were happy about a successful surprise and an unforgettable day with our family. Many thanks to the organization and the staff on the ship !!!

A journey in which you have to laboriously exchange your online ticket at the counter in the queue for a paper ticket. During the trip, I was not only overlooked as an individual at the drinks service, but also afterwards when I informed the passengers that they had to change trains in Spitz to get back to Krems. A loudspeaker announcement would have saved me a double tour to Melk and a 1-hour bus ride back to Krems. The unnecessary time-consuming tours meant that I no longer had dinner at the accommodation. An excursion that is remembered negatively and was not worth the money.

Beautiful weather = 1 star, a nice waitress = 1 star. Poor organization of seats! Die Schiff has reserved the best seats with a reasonable view for its own guests. The rest is up to you. The people who have secured a nice place on the top platform insult standing passengers that they should sneak because they cannot take beautiful photos. Excellent! We have to go down with the grandpa and his buddy. Together, the “boys” have 157 years and 3 artificial knees. Where should we find room for the 2 ?! Cashier says: Please ask the waitress, the waitress says: Front left. Finally after 2 x 2 stairs and under the fire from photos of horny sitting guests we arrived "left front" and 2 moaning "boys" stretched their legs under the table, protested less nice waitress: this is for "our" guests! and recommends table 3.5m from the window, where you can see 0 from Wachau ....
