My wife and I took the Krems Wachau Valley River Cruise with the 3- course meal on April 27th and we highly recommend it. The weather cooperated and we were able to get seats on the upper deck of the boat to enjoy the beautiful views. Seats on the upper deck are taken up quickly as there are people who take the cruise but not the meal so if you want to sit outside after you eat you need to be vigilant. The meal was excellent and the service staff were very polite and accomodating. For a cost of $94 per person (Canadian $) this was excellent value. We would do this cruise again in a heartbeat.

We did the river cruise from Krems to Melk and everything was great. The view was really beautiful with all the vineyards of the Wachau, the service was excellent and the food really delicious. The captain of the ship lent himself to take a photo with my 3 year old son who was super excited; I really appreciated this. And most of all, I am very grateful to the staff of get your guide who helped me change my ticket from one day to the next without making me pay any penalty. The whats up service works very well.

Full description

Cruise on the Danube river through the 36-kilometer long Wachau Valley. The valley has been declared a World Cultural Heritage site because of its uniqueness. Enjoy a delicious 3-course meal on board, while cruising along the river from Krems to Melk and back again.

Highlights along the route through the river valley include Melk Abbey, Schönbühel Palace, and the town of Dürnstein with its blue church tower. In the ship's restaurant you will be spoiled with culinary delights made from regional produce, and you can enjoy the spectacular views of the open countryside from the generous sun deck.

The ships have been newly renovated using traditional materials, creating a bright, pleasant atmosphere on board. Relax in the lounge area on the upper deck, sit under the flexible sun sail, or enjoy a drink at the bar area on the ship's sun deck.
