Pass through dunes and pine forest of the protected area of Melides. Ride along a beach that stretches out for over 60 kilometers with the ocean at your side. After the beach, you will ride close to the Melides freshwater lagoon, where you will be able to spot a variety of bird species. If selected, at the end of your activity, enjoy a wine tasting session of three different types of wine produced in the region or a barbecue lunch. Your tour will begin with a pickup up from your hotel, accommodation or ship. As this is a private tour, your itinerary is flexible and you can choose which places you would most like to see, in discussion with your driver. You will start by heading south by the Iron Bridge towards the Melides beach area (an approximately one-hour drive). Next, head further south to Sines (the birthplace of Vasco da Gama), Porto Covo, Milfontes and Zambujeira do Mar beaches. In between these points, depending on your preferences, you’ll have lunch at one of the many restaurants of the region that is known for its fresh fish and exquisite seafood. If weather permits and you wish to, you can also spend some time on one of the many visited beaches. After Zambujeira we will return back to your hotel or accommodation where we will arrive approximately by 6.30 PM.
